The first indoor farmers market in Chelsea takes place this Saturday, Nov. 2, in the cafeteria of the Washington Street Education Center.

The hours are from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. and the indoor season runs through Dec. 21.

Farmers will be selling their produce at the market, and that will include apples and plums, as well as zucchini, squash, eggplant, peppers, onions, cabbage and beans.

In addition, you’ll find fresh eggs, cheese, and baked goods including breads, cakes, and cookies.

You’ll also find artisans selling pottery, jewelry, candles, and herbals.

John Latini will provide the musical entertainment at this week’s market. There will also be a food demo with Monica Gobba, and plenty of hot coffee every week.

Saturday market vendors at the indoor market include Brieland Shoultz Farm, Jacob’s Fresh Farm Shares, Kapnick Orchards, Marks Farm, Tantré Farm (through the first week in December), La Baguette, Stone Hearth Bakery, Golden Fleece, Para Para Creamery, Shoreline Wild Salmon (twice a month), Affeathermations, Debbie’s Beads, Country Hills Pottery, Smellz so Good candles (every other week), and Thistle Blossom Herbal.
