Thanksgiving is coming up next Thursday, Nov. 28, and the Chelsea winter farmers market is an excellent place to stock up on much of what you need and want for the annual feast.

The Saturday market runs from 10 a.m-2 p.m. and is located in the cafeteria of the Washington Street Education Center.

You’ll find plenty of produce this Saturday at the market including potatoes, squash, mushrooms, apples, along with honey, eggs, and meats.

You’ll also find a variety of breads, cakes, and cookies, along with artisans selling soy candles, pottery, jewelry, bird houses, soy candles, and herbals.

There will also be fresh, hot coffee available, and the musical entertainment this week will come from Bill Personke.

Saturday market vendors at the indoor market include Brieland Shoultz Farm, Jacob’s Fresh Farm Shares, Kapnick Orchards, Marks Farm, Tantré Farm (through the first week in December), La Baguette, Stone Hearth Bakery, Golden Fleece, Para Para Creamery, Shoreline Wild Salmon (twice a month), Affeathermations, Debbie’s Beads, Country Hills Pottery, Smellz so Good candles (every other week), and Thistle Blossom Herbal.
