Oct. 12: Palmer Auto Service Hot Rod Halloween Car Show

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Bridget Favre for the information in this story.)

Palmer Auto Service LLC, in collaboration with the Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce, is thrilled to announce the Hot Rod Halloween Car Show, held during the annual Hometown Halloween celebration. This family-friendly event will take place at 222 S. Main St. on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., showcasing a variety of classic and customized vehicles.

In celebration of Palmer Auto Service’s 15th anniversary, attendees will enjoy complimentary cider and donuts as a token of appreciation. “We would like to thank the community for their support over the past 15 years,” said Robert (Bob) Mock, Jr., Owner of Palmer Auto Service. “Each passing year has brought a sense of accomplishment, and without our customers’ confidence in our services, this would not be possible.”

Vehicle Registration and Event Highlights:

Pre-Registration is encouraged due to limited space—last year’s lot was filled to capacity. Non-registered vehicles may be accepted on the day of the event, space permitting.

Parking will be assigned upon arrival. If you wish to park together, be sure to arrive together.

No registration fees – this event is open to the public.

Prizes galore for participants and spectators.

New for 2024: Hot Rod Halloween T-Shirt Exchange for Toys

This year, Palmer Auto Service is revving up the spirit of giving with a special T-Shirt Exchange in support of Toys for Tots and Teens. Here’s how it works:

– Bring a new, unwrapped toy valued at $9 or more.

– Exchange it for a FREE Hot Rod Halloween T-Shirt

– The T-Shirt giveaway is limited to the first 140 attendees—so make sure to arrive early.

For over 35 years, the annual Toys for Tots and Teens toy drive during Hometown Holiday has collected toys for Faith in Action (FIA) and distributed to area children.
