Oct. 21-22: Chelsea Cancer Center fundraiser features Germack Nuts, Hoola Jewelry

Germack Nuts and Hoola Jewelry will be featured at St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea Hospital Auxiliary’s October fundraiser to benefit the Chelsea Cancer Center on Tuesday, Oct. 21 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and on Oct. 22 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

Germack Nuts is welcomed back after several years absence with a full line of nuts, seeds, dried fruits, chocolates, nostalgic candies and gourmet gifts. Only heart-smart pure canola oil is used when needed in their products.

Germack also provides raw or unsalted nuts and seeds, nut butters and fit/trail mixes.  All products are blended and packed in-house in small batches, ensuring a more even roast and better distribution of any spices.

The company’s attractively packaged products make good holiday gifts and are long-time Michigan favorites.

Hoola Jewelry made its first appearance as an Auxiliary fundraiser this spring and this is an opportunity to add to your collection. This company allows you to express yourself with jewelry that you design by hanging a jewelry piece from a hoop to form an earring or add it to a necklace or bracelet.  Some materials available are sterling silver, gems, pearls, Swarovski crystals and Mother of Pearl.

Funds raised will go toward the Chelsea Cancer Center.

Due to construction of the Cancer Center, the main entrance of the hospital should be used and parking is limited.  The free shuttle is available to this entrance from the professional building, the Wellness Center and any hospital parking area.  The shuttle can be called at 734-646-1709 for pick-up and drop-off.
