There are outdoor farmers markets in Chelsea through the end of October, and that includes this Wednesday, Oct. 23, at the Chelsea State Bank parking lot located at the intersection of M-52 and Old US12. The market runs from 1-5 p.m.

Look for Dexter Folsom and his hand-crafted blue bird boxes and bird feeders at the market. You’ll also find artisans selling candles, pottery, and jewelry.

The autumn harvest of vegetables means you’ll find plenty of eggplant, squash, peppers, onions, cabbage and squash at the market along with a variety of apples and apple cider.

There will be eggs, cheese, and meat available along with a big choice of baked goods including breads, cookies, and cakes.

Among the vendors at this season’s Wednesday market are Jacob’s Fresh Farm Shares, K’s Acres, Needle-Lane Farms, Pregitzer Farm, Bordine Farms, Golden Fleece Farms, Marks Farm, Kapnick Orchards, Affeathermations, LA Baguette, Stone Hearth Bakery, Awakened Provisions, Sweet & Salty (cookies), and Smellz So Good (candles).
