(Chelsea Update would like to thank Jean Vargas for the information in this story.)
The next meeting of the Chelsea Zero Waste Coalition will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 9, at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers (same building as the police department).
We are excited to have Dan Ezekiel from Ann Arbor as our speaker at this meeting. He is a member of the Washtenaw Zero Waste Coalition and a retired science teacher from Ann Arbor. Ezekiel is an officer of the Sierra Club, serves on the Ann Arbor Parks Commission, helps with the annual Trash Talk Tour, and he was involved in the start-up for Recycle Ann Arbor.
Dan will discuss trash.
As with all our meetings, the public is welcome. We hope you will join us for this special meeting.
