Olivia Blissick, Drew Broughton, Edanjen Lin receive Chelsea Kiwanis Club Foundation scholarships

The Chelsea Kiwanis Club would like to congratulate three Key Club graduates, Olivia Blissick, Drew Broughton, and Edanjen Lin, for each being awarded a scholarship from the Chelsea Kiwanis Club Foundation.

Blissick has displayed qualities of leadership and community service. She will attend Eastern Michigan University to study visual art education to become an art teacher.

Broughton has displayed qualities of leadership and community service. He will study Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan.

Lin will also study Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan. He plans a post-secondary path to career and technical education.

We wish them success in their endeavors.

The Chelsea Kiwanis Club Foundation began to build in 1994. For the past 19 years, it has been granting scholarships to deserving Chelsea High School graduates totaling $54,500.

Grants were $1,500 per year for the first 7 years, and increased to $4,000 per year for 8 years. Since 2017, grants were $3,000 per year.
