The next to last indoor Chelsea farmers market takes place Saturday, Dec.14, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The market is located in the cafeteria of the Washington Street Education Center.

With less than two weeks until Christmas, it’s time to stock up on both food and gifts.

You’ll find a variety of vegetables and fruits including gourds, beets, carrots, cabbage, and potatoes as well as apples and apple cider.

There will also be meats, eggs, jam, and honey, along with plenty of baked goods such as French bread, cakes, and cookies.

You’ll also find Smiling Jim’s Seasonings, made with organically grown peppers, herbs, and spices, and they’re sold in gift sets as well.

If you’re shopping for locally made gifts, the market is the place to be. There will be jewelry, herbals, pottery, bird houses, and more for sale.

There will also be hot coffee and musical entertainment this week by the group Mixed Nuts.

Saturday market vendors at the indoor market include Brieland Shoultz Farm, Jacob’s Fresh Farm Shares, Kapnick Orchards, Marks Farm, Tantré Farm (through the first week in December), La Baguette, Stone Hearth Bakery, Golden Fleece, Para Para Creamery, Shoreline Wild Salmon (twice a month), Affeathermations, Debbie’s Beads, Country Hills Pottery, Smellz so Good candles (every other week), and Thistle Blossom Herbal.
