(Chelsea Update would like to thank Miki Doan for the information and photos by Kyle McDonald in this story.)
Most golfers spend a lifetime dreaming of hitting a hole in one.
Parker Doan actually did it.
On Aug. 16 at Inverness Country Club on the fifth hole.
The 2018 Chelsea High School graduate was substituting for another player in the ICC men’s league and used his 8-iron on the 141-year, par-3 hole.
His ace, using a Bridgestone E6 ball, was witnessed by ICC men’s league members Joe Boyer, Kyle McDonald and Max Plank.
Parker managed and played for the Chelsea High School men’s golf team for the past four years.
In his senior year, he received the SEC Sportsmanship Award.
Congratulations to Parker, hope this is the first of many more!
How exciting, Parker. You can be proud of yourself for your hard work. Congratulations!
