Here’s the latest update from the Michigan Department of Transportation about the continuing roadwork on M-52 in Chelsea.
Crews completed paving the northbound lanes, north of I-94, and all lanes on M-52 opened on Tuesday, Oct. 16.
The following closures are still on schedule for next week:
On Monday, Oct. 22, between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m., southbound M-52 traffic will be detoured between I-94 and Old US-12 for final paving of the southbound and left turn lanes on M-52.
On Wednesday, Oct. 24, between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m., MDOT will close and detour traffic on the westbound I-94 off-ramp to M-52 for final paving on the ramp.
On Thursday, Oct. 25, between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m., MDOT will close and detour traffic on the westbound I-94 on-ramp from M-52 for final paving on the ramp.
