The Washtenaw County Road Commission is expected to begin repaving Dexter-Chelsea Road between Freer and Dancer in Lima Township on Friday, Aug. 3, and the work is expected to take five days.
The contractor, Cadillac Asphalt, LLC and the Road Commission, will restrict motorists to one lane with flagmen during the daytime work, so expect delays.
Access for residents, businesses and deliveries will be maintained, but drivers might want to take an alternate route.
Keep in mind that the road work is weather dependent.
