The Waterloo Area Historical Society-Waterloo Farm and Dewey School Museum is celebrating its 50th anniversary and its 51st Pioneer Day on Oct. 14 from noon to 5 p.m.
There will be crafts and demonstrations throughout the day to recreate the pioneer farmer’s life of the early 1800’s.
Food, entertainment, shopping, and horse-drawn wagon rides are just a few of the things you’ll find at this special event on the farm and at Dewey School.
The fee for adults is $5, seniors are $4 and children from 5-12 years pay $2. Children under 5 years and members of the society get free admission.
The event takes place in and around 13493 Waterloo-Munith Road.
