President Barak Obama has ordered the flag of the United States lowered to half-staff until sunset on Sunday, Dec. 23 to honor the memory and longstanding service of Senator Daniel Inouye.
“Sen. Inouye devoted his life to serving his state, country and fellow man,” said Gov. Rick Snyder. “He will forever be remembered as an outstanding public servant and true American hero.”
