The Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce invites members and non-members to a special “Lunch & Learn” event on privacy compliance for both your business and personal data at the Chelsea District Library on Wednesday, May 8 from 11:45-1 p.m.
The free program is part of Chelsea Chamber Educational Series and takes places in the McKune Room.
Richard Mossburg, owner of Privacy Compliance Consulting, LLC, will discuss some of the common privacy and data security compliance issues facing businesses, and the program is geared toward anyone who has a website, retains employee social security numbers, or uses social media.
Mossburg will discuss important legal requirements to assure compliance with relevant state and federal statutes and regulations. Personal privacy issues will also be discussed.
And, don’t forget to bring your own lunch.
