During the Washtenaw County Farm Bureau‘s (WCFB) annual meeting on Sept. 20, members of the Chelsea Community Fair Board presented a check for $1,500 to the WCFB for Project RED (Rural Education Days), a yearly program that introduces third-graders to agriculture.
The gift was part of the proceeds from the Chelsea Community Fair’s new ice cream truck, which was introduced this year during the 150th anniversary of the community fair.
After the meeting, members of the Chelsea Community Fair Board posed with Lynda Horning, the WCFB co-chair of Project RED. From Left are: Joe Wesolowski, Loren Heller, Jeff Layer and Earl Heller.
Congratulations. Wonderful partnerships; County Fairs and Farm Bureau Promotion an Education.
