Today is Buzz’s birthday and it’s a special double digit one.
Happy 10th birthday, buddy.
I’m so sorry that you’re spending it recovering from surgery, but I will do my best to make sure you’re comfortable and we’ll celebrate soon when your little brother comes back home.
We were up bright and early at 5 a.m. this morning for a lovely walkabout in the dark in the snow with a flashlight and all systems are a-go, so to speak. Buzz had a full special birthday breakfast after he was only allowed half his usual amount last night. His meds are onboard and he is curled up as I type — napping.
(I think I may be following suit later this afternoon.)
I want to say thank you to everyone who sent special well wishes to him yesterday. I tried to get back to everyone. Please keep the prayer chain going for the biopsy results and I’ll keep you posted on any updates.
