Surprise, readers. I am having the fourth, and hopefully final, eye surgery this afternoon so I will be out of commission for a couple days post-surgery.
How well I will see afterward depends on what my surgeon finds. But the good news is, the retina is still attached and he wants to keep it that way, so there will be a gas or air bubble in the eye for awhile that continues to hamper my vision. I won’t know which one until the surgery is over.
I go back Thursday for a check-up and then again in a week to “see” how everything is healing.
And this time around, Aidan will have to step into the role of nursemaid, I’ll let you know how he does.
Please continue to send positive thoughts my way and when I’m able, I shall give everyone an update.
Also, please be aware that I won’t be looking at a computer screen for a few days so there won’t be as many stories as you would normally see on Chelsea Update. I’ll catch up when I’m told it’s safe to look at a screen again.
