Publisher’s message: Happy Thanksgiving to everyone

And I’m oh so thankful to, and for, the opportunity to have Buzz in my life … a prelude to a story coming your way on Monday.

I am thankful to all of the readers of Chelsea Update each day of the year, but it bears repeating on Thanksgiving.

And of course to Lisa Carolin, Crystal Hayduk, Buzz and Ryan as well as photographers Burrill Strong, Tressie Davis and Alan Ashley. And to all the wonderful readers who send event information and news tips. Without all of you, there would be no Chelsea Update.

I hope your Thanksgiving (and each day during this upcoming holiday season) is filled with love and warmth and happiness — mixed with terrific memories, great food, family and friends.

Oh, and some action-packed football, too. Go Bulldogs. Go Blue.

This time of year is so magical, please let the special joy of this most wonderful time of year engulf you with positivity, compassion and understanding.

I’d like to also personally thank the following folks who were kind enough to donate to my efforts.

  • Jim and Mary Randolph
  • Frank and Faye Frederick
  • Jerry Waldyke
  • Jenn Ridley

It’s because of kind readers along with my advertisers that I am able to continue publishing Chelsea Update 365 days a year for all of you. And remember, you can make a donation of any amount at any time of year to my efforts. Please keep in mind that these are not tax deductible. Checks can be made out to Chelsea Update, and sent to Lisa Allmendinger, 18829 Bush Road, Chelsea, MI 48118.

I can’t thank everyone enough. Now go, you have my permission, grab a second helping of turkey.
