Gerard Barry Sheremet, age 62, died Thursday, March 14, 2019 at his home in Stockbridge, Michigan.
He was born Oct. 14, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Walter G. and Stella V. (Szczepanik) Sheremet.
Gerard was a carpenter, a handyman and a business owner but mostly he loved sailing and scuba diving.
He was never afraid to dream or to try new adventures such as building a log home or teaching himself how to sail. He loved his family and had a special affection for the family dogs.
Gerard’s family will receive friends Sunday, March 31, 2019, from 2-4 p.m. at the Cole Funeral Chapel in Chelsea.
