Janyth “Jan” Dresselhouse of Chelsea, Michigan, age 85, died Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at Chelsea Retirement Community.
She was born February 26, 1938 in Livonia, Michigan, the daughter of Roy M. and Dorothy Van Atta.
Jan graduated from Northville High School. She worked at the bank to put Jerry through college, and left work to raise her children. She and Jerry moved to Chelsea in 1970. She was an active member of Our Savior Lutheran Church. Jan enjoyed her chickens and selling eggs.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 1, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Chelsea. Burial will follow at Vermont Cemetery in Chelsea. The family will receive friends at the church from 10 to 11 a.m.
