Ralph Richard Cook, MD, MPH of Dexter, formerly of Detroit, Midland, Ann Arbor, Trout Lake. age 81, died peacefully at home of natural causes on Monday, June 8, 2020.
He was born Feb. 21, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of George R. and Florence Irene (Armstrong) Cook.
Ralph graduated from Hope College and Wayne State University Medical School. He served in the US Army from 1962-64, working in a Medical Research Lab. He went on to study at U of M School of Public Health, and studied epidemiology at University of N. Carolina.
He was employed at Dow Chemical and Dow Corning for 32 years.

Joann, So sorry to hear of Ralph’s passing. He was a wonderful man and the best boss ever. I’ve thought of him often and have missed the euphamisms which he was wove into his conversation without a hitch! Blessings to you.
