Roy George Sanderson of Chelsea, age 77, died Thursday, March 5, 2020, in Novi.
He was born Sept. 1, 1942, in Chelsea, the son of George Edward and Lucille May (Hoover) Sanderson. Roy graduated from Chelsea High School in 1962.
He married Roberta (Gerlach) in Aurora, IL in 1967. Roy retired from Ann Arbor Public School System in 2004.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 14, at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Chelsea. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Roy’s life at the Grass Lake Depot after the service from 3-5 p.m.
