Shirley Ann Bowen of Chelsea, age 82, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Nov. 10, 2019, surrounded by her family.
She was born May 14, 1937 in Servia, Indiana, the daughter of Roy Moses and Iva Mae (Flohr) Krichbaum.
Shirley grew up in Servia, IN, attended college in Ft Wayne, IN, and had lived in Chelsea since 1960. Shirley was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ. She loved spending time with family and friends, playing cards, and traveling.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 15, 11 a.m. at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Chelsea, with Reverend Eric Stricklin officiating. Burial will follow at North Lake Cemetery, Chelsea. The family will receive friends at Cole Funeral Chapel Thursday from 4-7 p.m., and Friday from 10-11 a.m. at the church.
