Reminder: Chelsea DDA looking for names for Palmer lot space

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Bill O’Reilly for the information in this story.)

The Chelsea Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is pleased to report that public space commonly referred to as the “Palmer Lot” on Main Street opposite the City of Chelsea offices is nearing completion.  The DDA will soon be making a recommendation to the Chelsea City Council of a name for this space – the Council will have the final approval of the name.

The DDA welcomes and encourages public input for the appropriate name for this space.  So please get us your suggestions by the end of the day on Nov. 8 as we will be voting on the final recommendation(s) at our Nov. 15 meeting.

To get us your suggestion, you may e-mail the DDA at [email protected]; or mail/drop off your suggestion to the DDA at 305 S. Main Street, Suite 100, Chelsea, MI 48118 (please be sure they arrive no later than Nov. 8).

There is no limit on the number of suggestions.
