This is a reminder that BBQ chicken dinners will be available on Thursday, July 4 beginning at 11 a.m. at American Legion Post 31 on 1700 Cavanaugh Lake Road.
This annual event has been organized by the Sons of the America Legion for the four years. The BBQ chicken dinners are $9 each and a half chicken, cole slaw, a bag of chips, baked beans, a roll and butter.
Although about 600 half chickens will be cooked and basted with the Legion chef’s special recipe, they go fast, so be sure to get there early.
