Reminder: Toys for Tots & Teens provides gifts for area youth

Please consider donating to this toy drive.

Palmer Auto Service is collecting donations of gift cards and new unwrapped toys for the annual “Toys for Tots and Teens” toy drive .

The smallest gift can mean the world to a child or teen who needs help.

The toys and gift cards are taken to Faith in Action (FIA) in Chelsea and distributed to area children. Donations of gift cards can be dropped in Palmer’s secure key drop box and new unwrapped toys can be placed inside a contactless ‘Collection Box’ outside of Palmer Auto Service located at 222 South Main St.

“This year, we expect the need for holiday help to increase significantly. Your support will help keep many local families on track alleviating their worry about how to make Christmas happen this year,” said Sheri Montoye, director of FIA.

She said the donation of gift cards is preferred this year, but they will gladly accept toy donations.

“The most effective way to help this year is with gift cards. We have limited space and have taken a number of proactive measures to help ensure the health and safety of our staff and volunteers when sorting and distributing donations,” said Montoye.

Toy donations will be delivered to Faith in Action at noon on Dec. 11.

Toys for Tots and Teens also accepts monetary donations, which are used to purchase local businesses gift cards.
