Report of suspicious person in Thornton Farms subdivision in Lima Township

The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a suspicious individual in Thorton Farms subdivision in Lima Township this afternoon.

The incident occurred shortly after 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14.

The subject is described as an African-American male, 6-feet tall, wearing a white sweater-like shirt.

He’s carrying a small black notebook and is making contact at residences and asking people to sign an unknown document or piece of paper, according to the sheriff’s office report.

Police are asking you to report all suspicious activity to Metro Dispatch, 911, right away.
