The selection of fresh foods has expanded for this Saturday’s Chelsea Farmers Market.

The market remains a pickup only market, located at Palmer Commons, and open between the hours of 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Customers are asked to drive their vehicles to the parking area, stay in their vehicle, and display a sign with their name on it.

Chelsea Farmers Market Manager Emily Griswold as well as market volunteers will wear masks and observe proper social distancing while delivering orders and collecting payments from customers, which must be made with exact cash, credit card, or SNAP/DUFB.

To make an order to pick up this Saturday, May 23, go to the website https://openfoodnetwork.net/chelsea-farmers-market/shop and place your order by 6 p.m. Thursday.

Griswold will send out biweekly emails to Chelsea Farmers Market newsletter subscribers with ordering information that includes links to vendors that have their own online shops, separate from the Chelsea Farmers Market.

Shoppers will have the option of ordering from both the individual vendor’s site and the market’s Open Food Network site, and orders will be merged at the time of pickup. If you choose to pay the vendor directly, you will still need to pay for the other part of your order at the time of pickup.

Anyone with questions is encouraged to go to the market’s website- https://chelseafarmersmkt.org or to check for updates on social media.
