Live reptiles and amphibians will take center stage Sunday, Feb. 10 at the Discovery Center, and, there may be some creatures in attendance that many people have never seen.

The program, titled “Seldom Seen Michigan Herps,” will take place from 2-3 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 10 and is geared for the whole family.

“Take advantage of this opportunity to see reptiles and amphibians from Michigan, which are either rare or very good at hiding,” according to a press release about the event.

Nature Discovery will bring live specimens, some of which you may handle at the end of the program.

Visitors will learn about their habitats and characteristics and why they are seldom seen.

The cost is $2 per person or $5 for a family and the event takes place at the Gerald E. Eddy Discovery Center, 17030 Bush Road in Sylvan Township.

Advance registration is requested at 734-475-3170.
