Welcome the month of September and the bountiful local harvest by visiting the Wednesday Chelsea Farmers Market this week.

The market is located at the Chelsea State Bank parking lot at 1010 S. Main St. near the corner of Old US-12 and M-52 and runs from 1-5 p.m.

There will be plenty of fresh fruits including peaches, apples, melons, grapes, blackberries, and more.

It’s peak season for tomatoes too. There will be a large selection of vegetables including corn, zucchini, eggplant, potatoes, cabbage, cucumbers, peppers, and onions.

You’ll also find freshly baked breads, cakes and cookies.
