Sept. 22: fall mushroom hunt at the Discovery Center

On Sunday, Sept. 22 from 2-3:30 p.m., enjoy a fall mushroom hunt.

Search the woods to find and collect fall mushrooms and afterward, mushroom expert Phil Tedeschi will talk about what you have collected and identify those that are edible or poisonous.

Bring a basket or paper bag and waxed paper for collecting.

Cost: $2/person or $5/family.  Eddy Discovery Center, 17030 Bush Road in Sylvan Township.

Due to the nature of the program, advance registration is required at 734-475-3170. Limited to 30 people.
