The colorful fall season has begun and is well represented at the Chelsea Farmers Markets.
Come visit Saturday for fresh picked flowers, fruits, and vegetables including a wide variety of apples, plums, pears, grapes, and raspberries, as well as eggplant, squash, corn, tomatoes, green beans, and lots of pumpkins.
Honey, eggs, herbs, and seasonings will also be for sale, as well as fresh baked goods including cookies, cakes, muffins, and breads.
The market runs from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. and is located at Palmer Commons on Main Street.
This week’s music will be provided by Dave Boutette.
There is a regional (Chelsea, Grass Lake, Manchester and Stockbridge) food assistance program to help get healthy market food on the tables of those in need. It’s aimed at folks who don’t quite meet SNAP criteria. Be sure to inquire at the market.
