On Sunday, Sept 27 everyone is invited to St. Mary Church, 14200 E. Old US-12, for an 11 a.m. re-dedication ceremony for the Jubilee 2000 bell tower, Stations of the Cross, Memorial to the Unborn and Memorial to decreased Knights of Columbus 3092 and the dedication of the new 40-foot flagpole.
The St. Louis Guanella Council 3092 Knights of Columbus flagpole fundraising project is dedicated to current service members and veterans. It lists the names, ranks and service branches for local family members that are engraved on a granite plaque at the base of the flagpole.
A second plaque will be added in the spring so if you would like your family member or members’ names included on it.
The cost is $100 and you can make out a check payable to the K of C 3092 and put flag fund the memo line. Information and checks can be dropped off at St. Mary Church at 14200 E. Old US-12. Call Ken Klovski at 260-9971 for more information.
