There will be plenty of pumpkins, gourds, apples, and more at this Wednesday’s Chelsea Farmers Market.

The market runs from 1-5 p.m. and is located in the parking lot of the Chelsea State Bank at the intersection of M-52 and Old US-12.

You’ll find a variety of fresh baked goods including breads, cakes, and cookies.

There will be pie pumpkins for sale along with gourds, eggplant, potatoes, squash, peppers, and onions.

Apple cider will be available as well as apples, raspberries, plums, and pears.

You’ll also find cheese, jam, and honey for sale as well as pottery, jewelry, bird houses and more.

Market Manager Emily Griswold asks anyone with any sign of illness to please stay home.

  • Everyone is asked to practice social distancing of 6-10 feet and not to linger.
  • Shoppers will be asked to follow one-way pedestrian traffic signs using one entrance and one exit. There will also be hand washing stations.
  • Shoppers are asked not to touch or sample products, and vendors will choose and bag items.

Anyone with questions is encouraged to go to the market’s website: https://chelseafarmersmkt.org or to check for updates on social media.

In fact, most of the time Palmer Commons sits empty, except for Saturday Farmers Market.
What was the intent behind developing Palmer Commons?
