SRSLY announces last two movies of the season

SRSLY will be part of the 75th Annual Chelsea Community Fair parade and members are asking people to keep an eye out for “Turnbuckle Tutweiler” and the whole CPTN SRSLY crew on Saturday, Aug. 25th that day.

In addition, the group has also announced make-up movies planned for next week. “The Sound of Music” will take place on Monday, Aug. 27 from 6-9 p.m. at the Washington Street Education Center in the 400 Building. And, the group would like to thank the Chelsea Free Methodist Church for sponsoring this movie.

“Mr. Popper’s Penguins” will be shown Thursday, Aug. 30 from 8:30-10 p.m. behind the Clocktower in Downtown Chelsea and this will be the final movie for the season.

  1. May want to clarify the location within WSEC for Monday night’s movie. The 400 building is right on Washington, where Dance Arts of Chelsea currently rents space, and where the library was housed before the new building was finished. The 100 building is where the “theatre” is, and where SRSLY has shown movies in the past. It is next to the football stadium.
