SRSLY will celebrate New Year’s Virtually in 2020

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Kate Ankenbauer for the information in this story.)

The has decided not to hold an in-person SRSLY New Year’s Eve (NYE) Party in 2020. The in-person cancellation follows the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Covid-19 recommendations and puts the safety of the community first.

Although SRSLY is not able to host a party in-person, the SRSLY Coalition plans to offer fun on NYE through virtual activities.

For the past 11 years, the SRSLY New Year’s Eve Party has offered a free event for families. The party is a community tradition, supported by local community members and businesses, that offers a place for youth and families to have substance-free fun.

SRSLY wants to continue these traditions virtually.

Save the date for Dec. 31, for some SRSLY fun virtual events.

SRSLY is currently bringing together a planning team to organize all activities for NYE.

More updates are to come regarding activities that will be provided. Stay updated through SRSLY’s social media pages and The Chelsea Update.
