Still time to order a commemorative brick before Veterans Day

File photo. Bricks in Veterans Park in Chelsea.

With Veterans Day taking place on Nov. 11, there’s still time to order a memorial brick for installation before this special holiday.

The bricks are installed in Veterans Park at the corner of M-52 and Sibley Road.

People can purchase a commemorative brick in memory of (or in honor of) any veteran.

The cost is $75 for a 4″ x 8″ brick and an 8″ x 8″ brick costs $100, which includes not only the inscription but also the installation.

Order forms are available on-line here by clicking on ‘Forms Download’ then ‘City Clerk’s Forms’ or by stopping by the City Offices on Main Street across from the new police station.
