Don’t miss your chance to get your young one involved in Chelsea Recreation‘s pre-kindergarden (PK) or kindergarten (K) T-ball.
The PK/K T-ball is an introduction to baseball/softball for your youth player, and there are two different divisions offered — Pre-K (those entering Kindergarten the upcoming school year) and K (those that are currently in Kindergarten).
Each division is scheduled to meet 10 times. Out of those 10 meeting dates, there will be 5 practices and 5 games (weather permitting). Plus, the K division will also utilize some “coach toss” for those participants who are able to hit a ball that is tossed to them.
All participants must wear a Chelsea Recreation youth sports jersey. There is an additional $8 fee for those who need one.
And, volunteer coaches are needed for each team.
The PK is Tuesdays and Thursday from May 28-June 27 from 6-7:30 p.m., while the K division is Mondays and Wednesdays from May 29-July 1 from 6-7:30 p.m.
Both take place at the Pierce Fields at the corner of Old US-12 and Freer Road, and the cost is $70.
