The 2013 Memorial Open benefit golf outing

The 2013 Memorial Open golf outing on Saturday, Aug. 17 will benefit both Arbor Hospice and Great Lakes Hospice.

Organized by Chelsea residents Audra Lungo, Holly Bulko and Sandy McClear, participants will play Pine Hollow Golf Course in Jackson and the fee for 18 holes, a cart, snack and buffet is $55 per person or $220 for a team.

There will be a shot gun start, four-person scramble and if you don’t have a team, the organizers will put one together for you.

Sign-in begins at 9:30 a.m. and golf begins at 10 a.m. teams will play as long as there isn’t a monsoon or lightning. Should that happen, there will be no refunds.

A buffet will follow the golf and there’s also a drawing and auction during and after the meal.
