The Chelsea City Council held interviews on Monday, Jan. 10 of the three candidates who applied for the term left open when Jane Pacheco was elected mayor in November, 2021.
Eric Keaton, Kathryn Tinsley and Steven J. Wright answered six questions posed by council members and some follow up questions as well.

On Tuesday, Jan. 18, the City Council will vote on their preference for the seventh member of the council at the beginning of the regular meeting after which the person will be sworn in.
The appointee’s term ends November 2023, when there will be another City Council election.
