Chelsea High School is proud to announce three students signed commitments to play football at Division 1 colleges on Feb. 6.

Berkley Edwards will become a Golden Gopher as he heads to the University of Minnesota. Michael Steinhauer will attend Central Michigan University and Nathan Bossory signed with Air Force.

“Having three Division 1 caliber players signed in one year is extremely rare,” said Chelsea Athletic Director Jeremy Barkey.

He said the credit for this should first go to “the talented athletes who are talented and put in the work and time necessary.”

Barkey also credited Football Coach Brad Bush “for using his contacts to get these players seen” by college scouts.
