Today at the Chelsea Community Fair

A parade, a chicken dinner, that last time on the Ferris wheel are all on tap today at the finale of the 82nd annual Chelsea Community Fair.

And it’s your last change to enjoy breakfast at the fair kitchen beginning at 7 a.m., lunch beginning at 11 a.m. and dinner beginning at 4 p.m. It’s your last chance for terrific desserts, too.

There’s a compact tractor pull beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the Main Arena and the Chelsea Fair Parade gets underway at 1 p.m.

Before that, be sure to get your annual Knights of Columbus chicken dinner in a new location at St. Mary Church.

Rides begin at 1 p.m. and the bingo tent opens at 3 p.m.

It’s your last chance to get a cotton candy, a hand-dipped ice cream, see the animals and all the items in the Merchant Barn.

Senior showmen show off their skills during the Sweepstakes showmanship competition in the Multi-Purpose Building beginning at 7 p.m. and at the same time, the 4-wheel and 2-wheel drive truck pull takes place in the Main Arena.

And as a reminder, if you entered items in the green barn, please bring your tags and pick them up between 9-11 a.m.
