Naturalist and popular Chelsea Update nature and wildlife columnist Tom Hodgson will celebrate local wildflowers with a presentation that includes amazing photos on Sunday, April 14 from 2-3 p.m. at the Discovery Center at 17030 Bush Road in Sylvan Township.

He’ll share images of these beautiful spring blossoms — as well as those that will follow as the year progresses — during his talk, “Celebrating Wildflowers.”

Once the weather warms up a bit, April wildflowers will begin turning the drab spring woodlands into a colorful tapestry, and he will also share information on the best local spots for wildflower viewing.

The cost is $2 per person or $5 for a family.

The Gerald E. Eddy Discovery Center is located in the Waterloo Recreation Area.

Advance registration is requested at 734-475-3170.
