The Chelsea Area Fire Authority Board unanimously voted to sell the trailer that’s nestled next to the east side of the recently remodeled fire house.
And, they are in a bit of a time crunch because the trailer needs to be sold or moved by the end of August because it was allowed there by the city under special circumstances, which are about to expire.
Chief Jim Payeur hopes it will sell for about $9,000, but if it’s not sold by the end of the month, the board voted to spend up to $1,000 to have it moved off the property.
