Transition Town Chelsea will hold a potluck on Monday, Dec. 17, at 6:30 p.m. at the Chelsea Senior Center and Cary Church will share his experiences from the recent Local Future Conference.
He is expected to present detailed information about the physical process of hydrofracturing (fracking), which is coming ever closer to the area. He is also expected to share with the group what he learned from the Transition group in Cadillac.
The potluck portion starts at 6:30 p.m. and Church will begin his talk at about 7:15 p.m.
Those planning to attend the potluck are asked to bring a dish to pass and their own place settings. Entrees, in particular, are needed.
