This month, Transition Town Chelsea presents a chance to learn about home funerals and green burial with guest Merilynne Rush, proprietor of After Death Home Care, tonight, July 15 at the Chelsea Senior Center.
She will provide an overview of the funeral industry, current cultural practices, cost comparison between conventional and home funerals, legal information, how to care for your own dead at home, and an explanation of what Green Burial is and where it is available. 
This presentation will take place after the group’s potluck dinner and speaker, which starts at 6:30 p.m.
Rush’s presentation begins at about 7:15 p.m.
If you plan to attend the potluck portion, please bring a dish to pass and your own place settings. Entrees, appetizers, and desserts are all well appreciated.
