Chelsea High School students are collecting plastic bags and film, “stretchy” plastic, #4 from Nov. 15-April 15, and folks can drop off plastic during the school day to this outdoor bin at the entrance off Freer Road marked #3.
Independence Hall students and staff will have an outdoor bin that they place outside between the hours of 8 a.m. and 2:45 p.m., Monday through Friday.
In addition, beginning Nov. 29, the Chelsea District Library will be a drop-off location as well.
The students are competing in the NexTrex Challenge, which the group won in 2020.
