The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office is warning folks about a telephone scam taking place during which people receive an automated call stating that their debit card has been disabled.
Instructions then request the caller to input personal banking information.
Remember that any changes to personal banking should occur over a known, secure website or in person at your bank.
