What to expect at the Oct. 2 Wednesday Farmers Market

Welcome the fresh tastes of October this Wednesday at the Chelsea Farmers Markets.

There will be apple cider for sale, along with honey, apples, plums, and raspberries.

The Jam Man is back with a variety of his homemade jams, and there will also be cheeses, meats, and eggs, and a selection of freshly picked flowers.

Bakers at the Wednesday market will be selling plenty of freshly baked cookies, cakes, and breads along with gluten free baked goods.

Artisans will have jewelry, candles, pottery, birdhouses and more.

The Wednesday Chelsea Farmers Market runs from 1-5 p.m. and is located at the Chelsea State Bank parking lot at the intersection of M-52 and Old US-12.

Among the vendors at this season’s Wednesday market are Jacob’s Fresh Farm Shares, K’s Acres, Needle-Lane Farms, Pregitzer Farm, Bordine Farms, Golden Fleece Farms, Marks Farm, Kapnick Orchards, Affeathermations, LA Baguette, Stone Hearth Bakery, Awakened Provisions, Sweet & Salty (cookies), and Smellz So Good (candles).
