What You Need to Know about Annual Material Girls Christmas Bazaar

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Kelly Stoker for the information in this story.)

The Material Girls are holding the Special Needs Christmas Bazaar on Dec. 5 at the Chelsea First United Methodist Church from 4:30 p.m.-8 p.m.

This is a special shopping time for people who might do better with a quieter shopping experience. Parents or a caregiver can take their person around the shopping rooms, or there will be teen and adult buddies available.

Siblings can still shop as always. You can sign up your entire family in one-time slot. Siblings will shop with buddies.

We hope to make this a special evening for shoppers and their families and caregivers. Sign up here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20F0A44AEAA229-53038966-2024#/

If you would like to register a shopper for this event (siblings are welcome to shop at the same time), select an open shopping appointment time and enter your shopper’s name and age.

If you have any questions, please contact Kelly Stoker at scrapstoker@comcast.net.

The 16th Annual Material Girls Children’s Christmas Bazaar takes place Dec. 7 at the Chelsea First United Methodist Church from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. during Hometown Holidays.

It is designed to help children (ages 4 yrs-6th grade) understand that meaningful gifts don’t need to cost a lot of money.

Items are handcrafted by the members of the Material Girls, and each costs $1 – $5.

All profits will be given to Faith-in-Action to support families during the holiday season and into the New Year.
